  • Read Sample Summary / Response Essay passed out in class last week. 
  • Review Double-Entry Journal
  • In-class workshop on rough drafts.  Reminder:  Portfolio 1 is due Thursday, March 12
  •  The rough draft will be submitted to me at the end of this class.
Assignment for Wednesday, March 4:

1. Create a Double Entry journal for the article you are writing about for Portfolio 1, if you have not already done so.
2. Read the Portfolio 1 Guidelines and Rubric and write down any questions you may have.  Next time, we will use these two documents to create a checklist.
2. Read the “Revision Guide."  This will be important to your approach to revising your Portfolio 1 Essay.
2. Bring any questions about revision to class.
