Descriptive Essay:
The Honors assignment that goes along with the
descriptive essay should only take a few minutes and it just might help
you produce a higher quality final draft:Step 1: Print 2 copies of your revised draft.
Step 2: Take one copy and label it in terms of the following:
a) metaphors and other figurative language
b) strong use of adjectives (5 or more)
c) precise nouns (4 or more)
d) precise verbs (2 or more)
e) sensory images (2 or more)
Step 3: Find your draft lacking in terms of any of the above? Revise your final draft accordingly.
